Sailing Opportunity	-	Trip Twenty five, Auckland – Bluff
Dates	-	From 20 September Until 29 September 2012
Departing	-	0900 on 20 September from the NZ Voyager Maritime museum, Downtown Auckland.
Arriving	-	Approx 1400 on 29 September, Island Harbour, Bluff Harbour, Invercargill.
Duration	-	10 days
Route	-	We will travel along the east or west coast of New Zealand (weather depending) , a 1000 mile voyage stopping in 2 ports along the way.
Description	-	A coastal and offshore passage. We will most likely encounter a wide variety of weather and sea conditions during this passage, From a sailing point of view the NZ coast is an interesting and at times challenging area to sail in, a very good area to learn sailing and experience some of the many different situations on the water. The instructor will be Henk Haazen
Designed for	-	Start Yachting Competent Crew & Day skipper Coastal Skipper Mileage Building We are able to make up a crew of people at different course stages, with novices learning from the more experienced and everyone receiving the attention they need to master their course requirements.

Course Description	-	2 Day practical course to provide a short introduction to sail cruising. During the course participants experience steering a yacht, handling sails and are introduced to safety on board. This is the course for anybody starting out or, for those who have done a little sailing but never felt really comfortable onboard.

Course Description	-	5 Day or 3 Weekends practical course in boat handling (under power & sail), pilotage, navigation & seamanship to the level required to skipper a yacht by day. This course is the practical component of Boat Master. Put all that theory into practice!

Assumed Knowledge	-	Basic navigation & sailing ability.

Course name:	-	RYA/CBES Coastal Skipper Practical
Course Description	-	5 Day practical course for yachties with some skippering experience. The course focuses on the skills needed to skipper a yacht on coastal passages by day & night.
Ideal minimum Experience	-	15 days sea time (2 days as skipper) 300 miles, 9 night hours.
Assumed Knowledge	-	Navigation to Skipper Shore Based standards, sailing to Day Skipper practical standard.
Certification	-	Course Completion Certificate. This certificate is recognized by bareboat charter companies in NZ and internationally.Plus the option of a practical examination leading to RYA/MCA Certificates of Competence.

Course Description	-	Contact us to discuss your requirements. We have a wealth of experience and can provide the courses offered, as well as covering any special requirements you may have. We can teach you in the familiar environment of your own vessal, or with us on our boat for one-on-one attention. Our school boat is also available for practical Coastguard/RYA examinations. We suggest you that you do a refresher course with us before you do your examinations.
